Is your church or organization interested in supporting the ministry of KFUO Radio?
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17 (ESV) Our programs reach thousands of people every week, many of whom are Missouri Synod Lutherans. However, many who call or write indicate they come from a variety of religious or non-religious backgrounds. We have letters from listeners who have come to faith in Christ and become members of the LCMS because of programs heard on KFUO Radio.
Your partnership enables KFUO Radio to share the Gospel worldwide. Opportunities for partnership include becoming a Partner Church (no cost), Church of the Week, and Underwriter.
If your church or organization has a heart for missions and a desire to support our radio ministry, you can become a Church or Organization of the Week for a gift of $600. This is a also great opportunity to promote your church, special upcoming events, mission trips, community outreach programs and more. You simply sign up for the week of your choice.
As a Church or Organization of the Week, you would benefit from the following during the week (Sunday – Saturday) of your choice:
- Thirty-five 30-second prime time (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) announcements (5 per day) identifying your congregation or organization, your address and your phone number. Your pastor or a church representative may record the announcement, if you like. Hear an example below!
- An interview featuring your pastor or representative on one of KFUO Radio’s programs.

Consider a Packaged Underwriting Partnership with KFUO Radio for a gift of $1,000.
As a yearly underwriter, you’ll receive:
- Church of Week (35 announcements)
- Additional 25 announcements per week for a week of your choosing.
- A link back to your congregation’s page on our partner church page
- Your Congregation’s Pastor interviewed on a KFUO program.
- An announcement in rotation with our other partner churches promoting that your congregation is a KFUO Partner Church.

The KFUO Endowment Fund is meant to provide long-term, sustainable funding for KFUO’s ministry to continue broadcasting the Gospel for generations to come. Imagine, your generous gift today will impact the world long after you’ve been welcomed into the arms of Jesus!
How does an endowment work?
An endowment is a unique fund used to ensure long-term financial stability. It works by investing the principle amount into various assets to generate income. Each year, the interest earned on these investments (typically about 5% of the invested amount) is withdrawn to support the ministry of KFUO, if needed, or it is reinvested into the endowment to continue growing the principle. Because the principle can never be withdrawn or spent, your generosity will provide future funding for KFUO Radio in perpetuity.
How much does KFUO currently have in their endowment?
As of Fall 2025, KFUO has been blessed with about $1,280,000 in endowments that provide an annual 5% return of about $60,000 each year that directly supports our radio ministry.
And how much is needed to fully sustain KFUO’s ministry?
Annually, KFUO needs about $1.7 million to operate the station. Our ultimate goal is to build the KFUO Endowment Fund up to $35 million. At this amount, the 5% return would cover the entire annual operating budget each year. It’s a big project and it will take time, but it’s a goal we hope to achieve in the coming years.
How can I make a gift to the KFUO Endowment Fund?
To make a contribution to the KFUO endowment fund:

- make your cheque out to “KFUO” or “KFUO Radio”,
- include a notation on the memo line that says “For the KFUO Endowment”, and
- mail to KFUO Radio, 1333 S. Kirkwood Road, Saint Louis, MO 63122
You will receive a receipt for your donation and your gift will be added into the endowment fund for KFUO.
